Sonic Run Animation

http://filz.us/22rr
I like the way this one came out, then again I don't.
I don't feel like i will improve in my animations because i am LAZY
Razz
..Oh and, ignore the name "Music_Sync", I thought I would be able to match the movement with the beat, but i didn't feel like I wanted to on this animation.

I think it flows quite nicely, the images aren't terribly jpegy. We're all lazy at times haha but I think you should animate more.

you might wanna fix that background.

the floating cut in half enemies and not moving waterfall are distracting

Yeah, about the jpeg like images, how to I end up fixing them? They still bother me to this day. And yeah, this isn't finished. So the background hasn't been fixed at all.

They don't look jpegy to me, but at any rate when you import an image into flash via fireworks, or whatever look to the library window and double click the tree icon. Make sure "allow smoothing" is checked and the "compression" is set to lossless(png)

i wouldn't allow smoothing, it blurs sprites. i'd rather leave them aliased

well i mean, you're working with sprites which are really tiny. once you zoom in i feel it's just going against what they're supposed to be if you blur them. i like to embrace the aliasing

You should only allow smoothing on far away things like a bg, but floors on the other hand u shouldn't allow smoothing to, I like to keep em normal, no smoothing
