Fade in & out

on 10/3/2012, 1:17 pm
I've have learn a lot and can do a lot but I can't fade the screen out to black. I have been experimenting and I thought I could do this myself getting this far. How do I make the screen go black slowly. Please tell me, also a little advice on transparent object will be useful.

Easiest Topic Ever.

If you are using a v cam:

1 ) Click on the V-cam and look down at the bottom at properties
2 ) On the right, you should see a heading called "Colors". Click on it
3 ) Select Brightness
4 ) If you want to fade out to black slowly, then on the first frame, leave the brightness at 0%, then go to frame 30 (doesn't have to be 30, but the bigger the number the slower it is) and adjust brightness all the way down to -100
5 ) Right click in between the frames, and create a "Motion Tween"

I tried that but it wouldn't do a thing. It was hard to do anything with the black box due to it not being a movie clip
