Break apart problem :/

on 7/21/2012, 11:59 am
Basically the title says it all: It´s that when i break apart the sprites and then click with the magic wand... this is what happens...

The little pixels are selected too, and when i press delete it deletes the transparent BG with the little pixels T^T any help guys?

okay idk if this will work but goto magic wand settings and put up the threshold keeping the smoothing to pixels

I just align my sprites without removing the transparency, it's a slight bit more time consuming since I have to trial and error, but it's nothing major.

when you select the lasso tool, then go to the magic wand, there should be a magic wand with dots on it click that and change the threshold by typing in and integer between 0 and 200 in the bar next to the word threshold

that explained enough for you?

If he made the image transparent to begin with he would have the problem. Seems like he doesn't want to use fireworks though. If he has any program to make it transparent, then he's good

Well saul, you were trying to get rid of the background with the break apart method. If you don't have a background after pasting it, just break apart and make it a symbol or whatever you were going to do with it :T

it shouldn't do that if you aren't using break apart to delete the transparent bg. There's nothing to delete since it's transparent. When you make the whole bg transparent, those little green pixels between sonic wont be there

Isn't it the tolerance level of the magic wand tool? Mess around with that.
