Black Background Colouring

on 5/22/2012, 6:47 pm
Can't believe i've forgotten this, but I suppose we all make mistakes.

Anyway, let's say for instance i've got the DBZ Aura effect on the black background. Ive put that into a symbol, set the blending to screen and it's all good. But how do I go about changing the colour of the aura without in turn changing the colour of the black background which will inevitably show up in the animation regardless of the blend effect?

Ah so you don't do it in Flash. Righto. I'm using Photoshop by the way.

Yes, you can use filters but then, you're basically inviting lag to your party.

And we all know how lag is a party pooper.
