here's a little flaw, if it's raining he should SHORT out instead of getting faster and stronger.

How the hell would that work at all? I know water conducts electricity, but that should hardlym give him any sort of energy boost. In fact, I agree with SXR - it should really short him out.

Yes. Also it's a fact that water conducts electricity only if it's salt water. That means... rain won't effect or if you want any water to have a effect that means when it's raining he can't control the electricity coz there is water everywhere and the electricity gets wild and maybe hurts him.

Pretty cool But WTF can't you read sound waves? I think it was so loud my ear buds could be heard from 20 feet away and my volume was at 35%

... I think it should be the same when it's raining... As said before water conducts electricity.

If it's raining there is more of a medium for the electricity to move through, whereas in normal weather the water vapors are more scarce. That's why they tell you not to pee on anything electrical because the current will follow it's way back up into your Johnston :O

Sure the salinity of the water is needed to be at a certain level, but if you know anything about rain, you know that it forms around minerals. Drink a cup of rain water and you'll be able to tell it ain't salty like sea water, but it's still salty (This mostly depends on the area you live in as well).

Anyways pretty cool FC.

right, don't pee on anything electrical because the current will follow its way up into your johnston.

that's why they tested that theory on myth busters and the water current wasn't thick enough to transfer any electricity. Same goes for rain, it would all have to be CONNECTED water drops, otherwise it's useless, second, electricity shorts out in water, you drop a toaster in water, and what happens. ZZT. there it goes.

you drop anything electrical in water and it shorts out.

Well, he could say that his FC is a better conductor than water, so in a lightning storm his character is more prone to being struck by lightning (since the electrons will try to use him as the easiest path into the ground). And instead of lightning hurting him it actually momentarily powers him up.

This way his character is technically more powerful in a lightning storm (during the rain).

That's not a bad idea. I might go ahead and do that.^ I am currently still making poses for him though.

I would suggest letting water be his weakness. due to the fact, like I said, electricity shorting out in water. the lighting strike could provide him with energy to fight during a storm, but otherwise... well you get it.

Electricity doesn't short out in water. When a circuit is dropped in water electrons flowing through the circuit use the water as their main transportation instead of the metal wiring in circuits. The sudden change from the electrons moving through the wires to moving through the water is what fries the circuit and shorts it. That's why if you drop a toaster in a bathtub while you're in it you'll get shocked because the electrons that were once in the toaster are now in the water and rapidly entering/leaving your body causing you to become shocked.

There have been many deaths/injuries from people peeing on electrical appliances, the mythbusters ONLY tested a Railroad tracks third rail (I had a feeling someone would bring this up).

As far as a toaster goes, that is an appliance that RUNS ON ELECTRICITY, we aren't talking about appliances in this case, we are talking about raw electric energy.

It is true appliances short out in water even then the electricity is still there, it just moves from the toaster to the water. In essence, THE APPLIANCE SHORTS OUT, not the electricity. but "Ray" isn't an appliance, he IS the source of the energy.

Rain shouldn't make him stronger. It would certainly make his electrical attacks more effective, but in no way should it give him any kind of energy boost. That makes no logical sense whatsoever.

Yeah, I agree so I think that his character should have an abnormally high conductivity so that lightning has a higher chance of directly striking him. But when that happens instead of damaging him it powers him up momentarily. That way he is technically more powerful in the rain as long as it's a thunderstorm.
