Stretch Sprite Effect?

on 11/24/2010, 4:58 pm
Ok so there's like this stretchy effect thing that I see people do and I kinda wanna know how to do it. I know it's in this video lol

The effects is at 24 seconds. I usually see this effect when someone jump or lands, but i really have no clue on how to do this at all.

just free transform, put your mouse just above the line until it looks like 2 parallel arrows. Click and manipulate to death.

It would also help to move the pivot point. Listen to me mention that feature as if anyone knows what it is.

I mentioned it before, but no one understood it. So i left it out this time, so i can see the OP go mad.

Moving the Pivot Point is always a great idea. It helps..well..pivot the way everything works. Also, this isn't called skewing it's fucking resizing. >.>

If you want your character to breath or jump. You want them to look like an 'elastic' right. So you put the pivot point to the mid bottom, and stretch it upwards. That way it keeps the anchor there. ^^
