The fight itself is amazing, the alignment and camera shakes are sloppy though. They also aren't all that smooth but overall still an awesome animation.

i already told you my critique but yeah i agree with Jayden (who i haven't seen in forever ._.) the fight was really smooth though, its pretty hard to have a smooth even fight in a 1-2 match

yea those last 3 cam angle shots, totally unnecessary. but I haven't did an animation like this in so long I kinda went crazy.

Gouken's idle stance is a little too fast in the beginning. The choreography of the actual battle was very well done, just try to smooth out some of the alignment. The camera was a little shaky at times as well. However, these are all just small things that I noticed, the animation as a whole is very good.

you guys do know that the "alignment" you fellas keep mentioning was intentional.I even shrink and enlarge them by 10 as they move forward and back.

Its good, but it can be better.
some of the movements are stiff and don't feel like they have too much power behind them, theres some skewing issues (namely the one with ken at the end), and I think the fighting may be too fast for its own good. What I mean by that is you don't get to savor any of the motions because theres so much happening at one time.
I like the choreography and the camera work is pretty good.
With some tweaking and refining, this could go from good to great.

1st Knux DAT AVATAR, you get 5 cool points for that.

some of the movements are stiff and don't feel like they have too much power behind them,
I tried to avoid that.....I'll look into better ways.

theres some skewing issues (namely the one with ken at the end),
I was going for a slowish motion.because master gouken is really fast Im also gonna change ken's slow punch to a 3 part skew rather then just one long one.

and I think the fighting may be too fast for its own good. What I mean by that is you don't get to savor any of the motions because theres so much happening at one time.

That can not be avoided, that be my style son I like it fast pace if you blink you will miss it.these are masters fighting here there moves MUST BE FAST AND FURIOUS. or it would be just another fight scene.

I respect that you like to animate with quick motions and make everything speedy, but you certainly do not need a fast paced animation to make it great.

Re: the shotokan Master....

This is very well done, but to me, what shined the most is the choreography.

In today's animating world, you don't really get to see many group fights, where there's 2v2, or 1v2, 3v2, etcetera. This is because it's actually quite hard to animate a multitude of characters, while keeping them all in action, leaving none of them standing around. This animation however utilizes more than two characters beautifully, especially at :54 - :59. Like, seriously, great job. Though, that and another scene, I think at :45 - :47, is another where all three characters are engaged in the fight. Other points, its just a 1v1, but this 2v1 at some points does give it a better feel.

The animation is quite smooth, but as others have said, your camera work, is seriously awful. If the fight is just focused a bit more, camera shakes and flashes of white, and even a bit of camera resizing here and there, this would be much better. There are some points where you put a bit too much power into the action, which does make it a bit stiff, but it still seems pretty smooth, overall.

As others have also mentioned, the fighting is pretty quick, and on top of that, it's quite nonstop. While this can be effective, you have to remember how long you've been keeping the fight going, it's, I'm guessing around 30 or more seconds. That's straight up, 30 or so seconds of fast paced, no break fighting. You have to allow the audience to interpret what we're seeing, otherwise it all flashes like a blur to us. I mean, so far, it's good that it's all fast paced, but we just need a little pause, just something to slow down the fight just a tad, so we can truly accept what just happened.

Think of it like a book. If the author kept all the action in one paragraph, it just seems too dragged on. You need a break somewhere, that way you can interpret what you've read. So if I were you, I would considering tossing in a break somewhere in here, before it gets too out of hand.

Overall, this animation is pretty well done. But, with some of the things others and I have said, it could be a pretty great animation.
