Theres definitely room for art. Developing graphics.. you're the guy for that. Animating scenes. You'll enjoy doing that.

Excellent! Nice to see you have a good attitude. It's very up-building. I'm telling you NS it's been my dream to have you work like this on a film because I know you're skills would influence the process of it greatly. It might not be in my project that I talked to you about in PM but this is just as fine. Trust me there will be lots of rooms for you that'll require little time. It won't affect your college schedule (if you have one) and other things that you like to do in life. Let it be beating your meat or working at your job or even spending time with yourself. : ) Count on me.

I've been trying to squeeze you two in this (especially you, Exorz) and here you guys are. You might be able to be in on this. One thing I love about you is your fast production rate. When SXR and I give you our vision I know for sure you'll make it become reality in an instant but that means you'll have to follow everything according to that vision.
But that shouldn't be a problem to you, but let that go for all of you who wants to be in the crew.

This isn't just a Flash animation. It's a movie. A movie that has lots of elements introduced to it that makes it big. When you're animating the sprites, we want to look for animation that has the ability to make it's choreography feel real. When this movie is watched by the public, they have to replay the animation and look at it again. That's what SXR wants.
I'm glad I came to SXR about what we wanted for this movie. I suggested a few months ago that we should form a special crew that knew the same things we did. That way production would be less hard. But more importantly I knew what would be good for this movie. After reading the script I took a big interest in making the animation and what would be good for BGs and what not.
I knew exactly what SXR wanted. And as a cinematographer, first unit director/animator and art director, my job was to deliver his visions.
SXR's vision was so clear that I wanted to make sure that what I was presenting to him was his vision.
So to show SXR what I was thinking for what he wanted, I'd make a pre-animation. Some things are lost in translation on any movie, and it's always
better if you can show someone what you're thinking, or they can show you what they're thinking. So, by making a pre-animation it allowed me to say, "Hey, SXR, is this what you're thinking? Is this the
kind what you want?" And then he'd say, "OMG!!!!! PINGY DAT WAS AMAZINGZZZZZ." or, "Hey, no, that's not exactly what we want. Can we tweak that?"
It helped me a lot because oftentimes when you think of something and you have an action scene in your head, it
doesn't quite translate in reality. In your mind, yeah, it'd be really cool to make
this sprite spin and run smoothly to the enemy and attack him with depth in the BG. But then you get on Flash and realize,
"None of that would work exactly the way I imagined it." You can put it in the hands of mines or SXR's and say,
"What do you guys think? And how would that work? Show me what's possible and what's safe and we'll do it, because this is what I want it to feel like." So I encourage you to make pre-animations. Especially for scenes that involve intense animating and different forms of graphical work.
When making you're pre-animation it doesn't have to be complete. Just give us the idea you want so we can actually go in and do whatsoever with it for the actual scene.
When you animate a scene there will be times when you won't have all things that will be on the file, so can you make a test
to make sure that this "jump" will look good there or that you can animate the sprites that are called for per the script.

Most animators I know are kind of like this, where if they know it's going to be them animating the sprites or a scene that involves drama and emotion, in a way that needs
to appear to be suspenseful and dangerous, they're going to want to do it nine times out of ten. It's my job and SXR's to sort of
hold you guys back and show you how it's going to be done. I'll probably say that I didn't like how you made this tween or I didn't like how you skewed this sprite or I'll even give you thoughts on an effect you made. But we have animators who are genius at all of that, so it'll work out. It's all about proper planning and execution, and an animation that you can present to someone early enough that you can make changes.

I apologize if I was stressing my point a little to hard to comprehend. I'm not trying to ask for much but I just want you all to be on the same page. This is big for our buddy, SXR. He'll expect us to really put in the effort and strive to work as a team to make his dream become reality. : )

Hmm... Like i said dude, I know that SXR is in a very tight situation, and i wish i could help him out financialwise, but since i cannot, i`d like to help out around as much as possible. Like this. I know he needs all the help he can get, and i`m ready to do my best to satisfy him. I`m also sure my fast production pace could come in handy too. Fast AND high quality of course. Ping, i take my hat off to this. Except i don`t wear one lulz. But you get my point.

As to SXR: Take this movie`s primary goal as an example. Think of it like this. Let`s say, the public is Broly, and you are Goku. As much as everyone is well aware, i know YOU know Goku alone cannot beat Broly. Imagine if i were Vegeta (Shut up), Ping were Trunks, Patt were Gohan and so on and so on. Together, we CAN do it. We CAN beat broly (Satisfy the public). I`m sure you`ll take my advice and be more... easygoing. I know you`re sceptical and all that, that`s fine, but don`t overexaggerate. And... i want you to know that i`m proud of you. You did the right thing. Its help you want? Its help you shall get. Say the word and i`ll do it.

So in other words you'd like to be on this bitch 24-7 non-stop as if you were the Director/Animator in a sense.

Lmao. You're a true Super Spritan. I'm happy to see your will to help him.

I was just thinking though. Originally this was suppose to be secret. SXR didn't intend to show anyone. He wanted things to be pin point right. This wasn't the "critique me" type of animation. He wanted to be all aces. That puts a lot of pressure on you. You consider a lot, too. Will the audience be disappointed? Will anyone appreciate any of the work I put into it at all?
There just a lot of uneasy going things that happen in your mind, and SXR is expected to have this movie done in May. You can only imagine the pressure going on in his head right now, and he's in some serious personal circumstances right now.

And to be setting this huge project as a collaboration breaks down his expectations. He really wanted to surprise you guys with this. But he made this for as collaboration for a reason. He knows he'll need help now. Him and I could have done this vs. the world but a lot has changed since development.
Not to mention this is big for SXR and me. For Spritas really.
we haven't really done this before. We only have prior experience that has somewhat an idea of what it's like to work as a team like this, so when you guys ask for something to do right away it's hard to take a step with you guys and not be sure how it'll go and if it's necessary.

If SXR wants you in then I may have a position for you. Not everyone on Spritas is suppose to be in this but if anyone with different skills or even bad skills comes in and is allowed onboard I'll make something for them to do.

But you might not have the necessary skills for this I'm sorry lol. With this it's a matter of seriousness I mean we can't just welcome people as they come. You got to show us what you can do and see if your fit for the position but we are always open for ideas.

How about this tal, I'll let you be a beta tester.

In other words, you'll be allowed to see parts of the film, and give feedback. Now, knowing your history of *coughbadreviewscough* I'll be paying special attention to your "feedback" in a way, it's going to be helping us both. helping you to give better criticism, and helping me, because even though you're not the best at giving reviews, you do happen to point out a few things that I sometimes miss.

Given our... um... past, I know you and I aren't very fond of each other, but lets forget about that Very Happy

BTW, leo, are you able to color pictures?

Well, knuxy, the awesome artist who kicks ass at art XD agreed to draw the poster (which I will put around the school) He said all he needs to do is finish the line art, and someone would have to color it, if you all would like to see the poster, I'd be happy to post it here. it's not finished, but he just needs to draw three more characters.

anyway, your poster is great, but I promised knuxy I'd do his, also, his is completely hand drawn, and he's put a lot of work into it.

SXR.... Are you sure you don`t play nice because of Christmas or that holiday spirit? Because if you aren`t... Well... You never cease to amaze me. Not only you took advice from someone... but you also offered help to someone you hated. Wow.

@SXR123 wrote:Well, knuxy, the awesome artist who kicks ass at art XD agreed to draw the poster (which I will put around the school) He said all he needs to do is finish the line art, and someone would have to color it, if you all would like to see the poster, I'd be happy to post it here. it's not finished, but he just needs to draw three more characters.

*coughwhataboutmypostercough*
Again, you'll be given orders soon. SXR and I are splitting up parts. The script is long, man. Right now we're picking out what's best for you all.
@SXR123 wrote:Sure, you can be in it. Me and ping will split up the parts.

NS you can be in it to, leo, if you want to animate or draw or something, that'd be great.
I'll go and work on the movie and see if I can give Leo, NS and Patt something to do.

Lol I know right.

I can only contribute a little, I have enough projects of my own.
