The lines on this one are really bad but I like the perspective

I loved the way this one came out, especially since know nothing about highlights...

not that I know much about shading...



Anyway... thoughts? I'm hoping for a big speech from patt.

What is this i don't even

I personally love this very simplistic type of art. Art doesn't need crazy details to make it enjoyable to the human eye. Art appeals to anyone, and I mean anyone, and this type here, I find cool and very fun to draw. However I can't get this cartoony look, as I'm most impressed by the face in the last one. Each of these are unique in their own way, and each have their flaws that were fixed upon approach each one.

First drawing is very simplistic. Appearing to be a black figure with a gray face, the only thing I think that could make the picture better was if the eyes were bloodshot. That would have made it prime and probably the best here. The only things I don't like about it is the too simplistic shape, the can like shape with every ridged arms and legs. Fingers as well. However, this may just be the characters. The facial expression of the character really does fit him as well. Looking quite nice.

The second one, looks like a coffee cup of some sort. Once again with the unique cartoony look and nice drawing style. The body isn't ridged anymore. the cup shape looks excellent but it seems too short which isn't a problem, just I don't think it should be that short. The one thing I found wrong here was the arm placement in coordination of the up. I think it looks weird for where it is at. The thing I don't like here is the sprinkle like things in the brown (coffee?), it seems too out of place. Almost like confetti or something, should have made it a light brown and make it look like a yummy French Vanilla coffee. Although, still great drawing.

Ah this one, my favorite. The facial expression here really gets me. Looks so cute, harmless and innocent. Very nice eyes as well to achieve that look. The arm that is visible is perfect in every which way. The one thin that was in the previous picture but wasn't as great, is the shading/lighting. The light green here is so perfect, and it's just perfect, I can't say more. Perfect shade, perfect placement perfect everything. The only thing you should have included is dark green around the bottom. This here, is great, it's my favorite.

As I've said, the drawings are awesome, in their own ways. You improved with each as well. I really like this style and I think you could get really good if you continued with it. Continue to practice on and on to hit your true strength. Please, update this whenever possible. I love these drawings. : )

Your stuff is really well constructed, something I barely see nowadays (today it's just flat flat flat) but yeh

Your hands really need work. The hands weren't constructed so well and they look very wonky. If you haven't already, check out a book called Advanced Animation by Preston Blair. DO IT

There's lots of poses of hands you can try to draw.

However his left hand has some tangents in it, so I recommend doing some overlap with the fingers.

I see how you added that slight shadow of the bug, but I feel like you should add the shadow of the hand as well to top it off. Otherwise I think it's nice. : )
