| So, in this thread is for Sprite Animators using Pivot So we answer, you ask. We ask, you answer. Just reply each to each other's post. Well, i have a question. How to add audios to Pivot ? Not like in flash, can we add audio on the Movie Maker ? Help here... I'm recording the animation with Camtasia Studio 7. |

Ok kiddo listen good. Do not. DO. NOT. Use Pivot. While technically not disallowed, the use of Pivot is quite taboo on Spritas. Its a very, very lousy piece of crap software that will hold you back greatly. Learn Flash. But, to answer your question, you cannot add audio to Pivot animations, because Pivot only generates gif images. And, those are just images. Yes, you can import those to Movie Maker and add audio, but for the love of god, do not even take one step down that path, unless your goal is to learn what not to do. Furthermore, why the hell are you trying to screen record a Pivot animation with Camtasia when you can render the animation directly from Pivot!?
Dammit I think I just pulled a nerdmuscle. |

| Before you all continue to ram "GET FLASH" down his throat listen. If someone asks for help with any program it's ok to recommend one you feel is better, stating the pros and cons for both sides. However if even after the OP STRICTLY wants to use that program and that program only, no matter how ignorant he may be it's his choice, so either help him with it if you can or don't, but don't look like some Religious zealot with flash.

In flash there is a thing called " Onion Skin " that does that. There are many advantages of having flash over Pivot, You can make MCs, graphics, motion tweens and much more. Flash makes spriting pretty easy. You won't have to do every frame over and over. Look at Eric's Flash tutorials in the tutorial section of the forum and you will see it is very easy. |

| Again, Abstain away from pivot, young spriter. The fags on FluidAsses, I mean, FluidAnims only use that low-class, inadequate program. Even those peers there encourage the fools to use flash. Follow Mr. Lange's sexy tips precisely. Doing so may even get yourself a good education by reading his fabulous sentences that contains astonishing vocabulary of words. Mhmmm. |

| Man... I used to use pivot... never realized how bad the program was. It was my alternative to flash since I could never figure out how to use it... and damn I wasted a lot of time using it.

What the hell are you on. I don't think I've ever seen a Pivot animation on Fluidanims. Hell not even a Tisfat animation. Most of the active members there are godly animators and the site is full of some of the most beautiful animation I've ever seen, all done in Flash. |
